4 Steps to Ending Analysis Paralysis
(Free ADHD Decision-Making Guide)
Happy Sunday my fellow ADHD builders.
Ever spent hours thinking about a decision, only to still feel stuck?
➡️ You replay all the “what-ifs” in your head.
➡️ You look for one more strategy before taking action.
➡️ You feel like if you don’t make the perfect choice, it’s better to do nothing.
That’s analysis paralysis, and it’s one of the biggest growth-killers for ADHD entrepreneurs.
So here’s a 4-step ADHD-friendly framework I teach my clients to make decisions faster & take action:
✅ Step 1: Limit your options: more choices = more overwhelm. Stick to two or three options max.
✅ Step 2: Trust the 80% rule – If a decision is 80% good, take action. Use the analytical brain for good and acknowledge the high probability is enough to move forward. Perfectionism kills momentum. Most of the time there’s multiple positive outcomes - just pick one.
✅ Step 3: Get an outside check – Not for validation, but to make sure you're not overthinking.
✅ Step 4: Commit & move forward – You can always adjust later, but taking action now = progress. Pick one and forget the other exists. Go all in on Plan A - you don’t need plan B.
