How to navigate an ADHD Idea Storm⛈️
are your ideas and revelations like popcorn in a microwave?
Radio silent for a while and then BANG BANG BANG. They all come at once.
If you have ADHD, you'll get this: one brilliant idea triggers another, and another, and so on.
The problem? With so many competing ideas battling for your attention, it’s tricky to pick the "winning" direction.
and easy to end up paralyzed by indecision.
This ‘idea overwhelm’ is one of the biggest hurdles for ADHD entrepreneurs.
But to prevent this; you don't have to shut down your creativity; you have to manage it.
When your brain is constantly generating ideas, don't let it overload and definitely DON'T let them slip away.
Here's how:
Create a "Capture and Categorize" system😀
Capture every idea, no matter how small, into a dedicated space (Any digital space like Notion will do). Keep it simple.
Categorize them based on their topic.
Every Monday (or daily), review which ones are priority for this week.
This helps you decide which ideas are actionable, which are long-term, and which can wait.
To summarise:
❌ One big mountain of ideas of tasks to do.
✅ A simple, categorised place to braindump ideas, with a stable review system to decide which is priority this week.
