Tired of "switching" constantly?

Your ADHD brain craves novelty…

…and that’s the problem.

Chasing the “next big thing” keeps you stuck:

  • Projects start but don’t finish.

  • Apps get swapped before they’re mastered.

  • Systems overcomplicate instead of simplify.

So as soon as things get “boring” we abort and move on to something else.

Here’s the science:

↳ Novelty gives your brain a dopamine hit.
↳ Consistency doesn’t—but it’s where progress happens.
↳ The goal isn’t avoiding novelty—it’s channeling it.

We have to accept how our brains are wired and “outsmart” them.

Find ways to create false novelty to get the boring stuff done but that takes “planning” which we also suck at lol

Here’s where we need to start…

  1. Simplify everything.
Make the goal the shiny object and not the process. Think of process as the tools and you can keep changing tools as much as you need to get to the goal.

  2. Gamify progress.
Celebrate streaks. Small wins matter. Inject little treats for yourself so you’re brain gets all excited.

  3. Control the chaos.
Remember the saying “if it’s imporant you’ll remember it later”? Same thing for us. We have a firehose of “ideas” and there are always 1000 more to replace the ones we have. We don’t need to store them. We need to let them go and get back to work!

One client used to start five projects at once.

None ever finished.

After applying these strategies?

They completed their first launch in two weeks.

Progress isn’t exciting at first.

But with the right strategies, it becomes inevitable.

Where can you trade novelty for consistency this week?
