What if your hyperfocus could be controlled?

Hyperfocus is a double-edged sword.

It's incredible for

👉 smashing out big projects

👉 tackling complex stuff

👉 getting sh*t done

But once you get sucked into that bubble, you can spend HOURS on the wrong thing.

The challenge (and the reward) is learning how to go in and out of hyperfocus without derailing your entire day.

With the right strategies you can start to move yourself into a hyperfocused flow state.

Here's how my most successful ADHD clients do it:

1️⃣ First, put a super long soundtrack of Binaural beats, brown noise, or white noise (or whatever gets you lost in a focus bubble)

2️⃣ Set timer for 90 minutes (your brain knows when it gets to relax. 90 minutes is also optimal for one deep focus stint)

🔗 You can use this free tool for both of the above.

3️⃣ Once its done, completely interrupt your brains pattern. Go for a walk, eat something, do some breathing exercises or stretches, maybe even change environments or room.

4️⃣ After 20 minutes, re-prioritize BEFORE diving back in.

What strategies are you currently using to help you switch hyperfocus gears?
